What Is Telehealth?
Telehealth is the delivery of healthcare services using electronic communications including secure online platforms, video calls, and secure messaging.
A licensed clinician can evaluate your health information and make clinical decisions without an in-person visit.
What to Expect?
Through Everwell, you may:
- Submit a health intake reviewed by a licensed clinician
- Receive a prescribing decision asynchronously (without a live call)
- Be asked to schedule a video or phone consultation if your clinician requires it
- Communicate with your care team via secure messaging
Potential Benefits
- Convenient access to licensed providers without travel
- Faster evaluation for appropriate cases
- Ongoing, flexible care team communication
- Privacy-protective self-pay model
Limitations and Risks
- No physical examination: Your clinician cannot physically examine you, which may limit evaluation of certain conditions
- Technology limitations: Connectivity issues or platform outages may occasionally interrupt services
- Not for emergencies: Telehealth is not a substitute for emergency care. Call 911 or go to your nearest ER for any emergency
- Security: We use SSL encryption and industry-standard security. No electronic system is completely immune to risk
Your Patient Rights
You retain the right to:
- Be informed about your treatment and alternatives
- Refuse any recommended treatment
- Ask questions at any time
- Request referral to in-person care
- Disenroll at any time
- Access your medical records per applicable law
Privacy Rights
Your health information is protected under HIPAA and applicable state laws. It will not be shared with employers, insurers, or third parties for non-care purposes without your consent, except as required by law.

By completing the Try EverWell health intake and using our platform, you confirm that you:

- Voluntarily agree to receive telehealth services
- Understand the limitations and risks described
- Understand that prescriptions are not guaranteed
- Are 18 or older
- Are a resident of a state where Everwell operates
